a new camera.

my canon broke a year ago. my lame sony camera, is breaking too. it barely turns on, the focus on it is terrible and not really adjustable, and it's just for random pictures, nothing real 'good'.

since i've been out of the camera shopping thing for awhile, i was wondering if it's worthwhile looking into the new lines of cameras, or just go for one from a couple years back?
